 - Perks. Occasional swag, credits, or extended trial access for active contributors.

Who it’s for
ASC’s beta program is open to device integrators, OEM partners, developers, QA engineers, and power users who:
- Want to influence product direction
 - Are comfortable using pre-release software that may contain bugs
 - Can provide clear, actionable feedback (bug reports, logs, workflow examples)

What you’ll test
Depending on the release cycle, you may be invited to test:
- New firmware builds and OTA updates
 - Android & iOS companion apps and beta APIs
 - Cloud integrations, dashboards, and telemetry flows
 - UX changes and new configuration workflows

What we ask from you
- Try the build in real-world scenarios relevant to your use case.
 - Report issues using our bug template (steps + expected vs. actual + logs/screenshots).
 - Complete short feedback surveys and occasional short calls with the product team.
 - Respect the NDA for closed betas, when applicable.

How it works (simple)
- Fill out the beta sign-up form (name, company, role, devices in use, testing bandwidth).
 - We review and invite participants per release (priority for partners & high-impact testers).
 - Receive the beta build, release notes, and reporting instructions.
 - Test, report, repeat — we’ll share progress and final release plans.

Beta timeline & expectations
- Beta cycles are time-boxed and listed on the release page. Each cycle typically includes: alpha → closed beta → public beta → official release.
 - Beta software may be unstable; do not run in production environments.
 - We aim to respond to high-priority bugs within 48 hours and to collect aggregate feedback after each cycle.
